- Summary
- Lost Valley Ranch is a far-reaching land empire founded by James Hyland, advanced by his son Angus Hyuland, and inherited in the third generation by Douglas Hyland. In the town of Hyland, adjacent to this mighty ranch, Sheriff Evan Hatfield is a fair-minded man who wants to maintain the peace. That intention is challenged when a homesteader arrives whose claim, issued by the Land Office in Denver, was on the Lost Valley range. Douglas Hyland travels to correct the error, as new claimants arrive - and nothing is going to stop them
