- Rosalie Davis was born to William N. and Jessie B. Davis, Jan. 21, 1878 in Greenfield, Indiana. She married Edgar Allan Poe Rock on May 3, 1899 in Hancock County, Indiana. They had four children; she was survived by Robert D., Dorcas and Pauline. Rosalie died Nov. 27, 1946 and is buried in Park Cemetery, Greenfield. Edgar died Mar. 31, 1962 and is also buried in Park Cemetery, Greenfield.Robert D. Rock was born in approximately 1900 in Greenfield, Indiana. He and his wife, Nettie, were the parents of Richard Robert, Sharon and Marilyn Virginia [Virgene] Rock. Robert was a biochemist with Eli Lilly for fourty one years. He died in 1966 and was survived by his wife Anna.Marilyn Virginia "Virgene" Rock was born in 1928 in Indiana. Virgene attended Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri, graduating in 1948. She married Richard Sherrer on June 6, 1950 in Marion County, Indiana. They had two daughters: Susan and Connie, who was born in 1956 and two sons; Michael and Steven S.Connie Sherrer was born Jan. 19, 1956. She married Thomas Lowell Beck on May 8, 1976 in Indianapolis, Indiana and they had one child, Amanda. Information found within the collection."Beck, Connie".
