- Summary
- Jim Steel was a fast gun with a hot temper, who couldn't stay out of trouble for more than a day. His craving for gold kept him in hot water with every sheriff west of the Mississippi. so when he discovered a shipment of government dies for minting gold en route to the U.S. Mint, along with enough bullion to set him up for life, Jim knew he was the man to guard it. But the man who hired him had plans of his own. Burt Ronson wanted the dies and the gold for himself. First, however, he had to finish off Jim Steel!
