- Biographical or historical data
- Lyle Eugene Cason was born in Boone County, Indiana on November 6, 1906 to John N. and Carrie M. (Shepherd) Cason. He was one of four children. His first marriage was to Marie Evelyn Bonwell on March 21, 1936 in Boone County, Indiana, and she died September 8, 1950. His second marriage was to Fern Shelburne, November 3, 1951, at Indianapolis, Indianapolis. He was a farmer and bred registered Guernsey cattle in Boone County and was a salesman for DeKalb Seed Company. He later moved to Pendleton, Indiana and was a security guard at the Indiana Reformatory. He died September 5, 1970 and is buried in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, Indiana."Cason, Lyle ". 1930 United States Federal Census.
