Biographical or historical data
John and Lucinda Lambert came to Indiana in 1830, settling near Clermont in Marion County. They had four children: Paschal (1831-1916), Henry (1834-1863), Lazena (1837-1863), and Nancy. John and Lucinda died of typhoid fever in 1842 leaving their children orphans. Paschal lived with his uncle, Robison Turpin, for three years then lived with William Myers (brother-in-law of Robison Turpin) in Decatur County, Indiana until 1852. Henry lived with Myers for a period of time and Lazena lived with her Turpin relatives until her marriage in 1852 to Dr. James P. Graham. Paschal married Eliza H. Saunders (1833-1921) and of their six children, only Sue (1858-1940), Zena (1863-1933), and Clara (1866-1950) lived to adulthood. Sources:Ancestry.com.
