A native of Terre Haute, Indiana, Mrs. Eckart was a Sunday School teacher, women's ministry leader, and a pianist at the Warren Park Wesleyan Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the wife of the late Reverend S. Creston Eckart. Her son, Reverend Daniel Eckart, officiated the funeral service
